CATS FEST is a 3-day fundraiser - it's true! But you would never know it because you are having a ton of fun! We have pretty much a little something for everyone who attends. Do you like Chili? We are hosting the 50th Anniversary Men's State Championship Chili Competition. Do you like Craft Beer? This year we present the CATS Craft Beer Experience. Do you like premium cigars? With the purchase of your ticket alone you will be walking away with a swag bag of about 30 cigars! YES! Now fill in all those gaps with Raffles, Silent Auction, Golf Tournament, Cigar Olympics, Live Music, etc....this is why you forget you're at a fundraiser.
What we don't want you to forget is the reason we are doing this... it's for our Deployed Men and Women in our Military. We do this so we can send them the #1 requested item - premium cigars. These men and women are sitting in the middle of combat zones and in the 45 minutes to an hour that it takes to smoke a premium cigar, it gives them an hour of calm and normalcy - a chance to recharge and refocus... for camaraderie.
If you haven't noticed, Craft Beer is one of the most popular festivals out there right now. Of course, CATS FEST is gonna get a piece of the Craft Beer action and boy did we. We have one of the nation's most well-known brands, Dogfish Head, as a Title Sponsor to our 1st Annual Craft Beer Experience. Nothing goes better with a Craft Beer then a good cigar. This experience you won't want to miss.
We are really excited to add a Silent Auction to this year's CATS Fest. All proceeds from the auction will go towards Op: CFW. Here are a few basic rules that need to be observed and a sneak peek at just a few of the items up for bid.
Highlighted Items that will be in this year's Silent Auction:

It's back! But this time without the flooding and tornadoes. Remember the storms of 2015? When the rain and storms rolled in, a dam broke near the rodeo grounds flooding the entire area? Tents and canopy's went flying past hotel windows......yes that one! That Sunday there was a concert scheduled, but due to the damage from the storms it was cancelled and people like Tom Lazuka with Asylum Cigars stepped up and purchase kegs of beer, DE bought loads of pizza and cigars and we had a party right in the middle of the host hotel parking lot. Good times indeed. This pizza party is to commemorate a good time regardless of the weather, good people and great friends.
